haha! someone commented on goodreads: "I've always wanted to live in Walmart." I actually once had a dream about a post-apocalyptic scenario in which I ended up hiding out in a Walmart-like place. I had this dream after watching 28 Weeks Later so that makes some sense. Excited!

O scary dream. I love the concept of this book.
Have you ever read or seen Where the Heart Is? In the story she is abandoned (pregnant) at Walmart and ends up living there for several months. It's a contemporary story but it's the first thing that popped in my mind when you mentioned living in Walmart.
