Thoughts:
This movie is fun, has plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, cute, has bro-love, has guy-girl love that's sweet, and is overall worth the theater ticket. I highly recommend this one!
Most romcoms/action flicks (and this movie is a bit of both) are pretty predictable and this one was not one of them. The spy bit of the movie is not as drawn out as I would like and it focuses more on answering the question of"who's the girl going to choose?" Even though that was the case, I still found myself really enjoying the movie. I can't wait until it out on Blu-ray. Loved it!
Like I said, this movie focuses a lot on the romcom part so don't go thinking you'll get a full blown James Bond movie. Expect a few great fight scenes and action packet bits. Expect some adorable moments with bros that love each other (awww I'm such a sucker for this! Have ya'll seen I Love You, Man? Cute brocom). This gal can't get enough of friendship stories. Speaking of friends, Chelsea Handler (yes, I watch her show every now and then) plays Lauren's (Reese Witherspoon) best gal pal and offers her mischievously humorous advice (in that unique way that Chelsea would), which of course has the audience laughing even more. Pay close attention to the slow-mo scene with Chelsea and her bug. So perfectly amusing, but I certainly would have been very upset had I been Lauren.
Just watch it! You got big bright blue beautiful eyes, Christ Pine *swoons*, on the left over there (poster), gorgeous and charming Reese Whiterspoon, amazingly British Top Hardy *swoons yet again* on the right. How can it get more entertaining?
