TV: Dexter, The Walking Dead, & Big Bang

My thoughts on these shows so far.

**spoiler alert if you're not caught up, but I will avoid plot points**

Dexter - Season 6

This show is starting off slow for me. It doesn't help that Collin's character isn't blowing me away. I saw the preview after the last episode and it looks like it's going to pick up by the next one (significantly so). I can't wait! I hope I'm not disappointed. I'm going nuts here waiting for that feeling I got watching the second half of season 1, all of season 2, and season 5. Now THAT is TV! I want to get that feeling where I am about to burst with suspense that I have to pause the show to take a breather because it's just that intense. Patience, patience.

The Walking Dead - Season 2 (remember, this time it's 13 eps long!!!!)

Holy chipotle sauce!! The first episode was MIND BLOWING (pun totally intended)!! I was watching it with my sister in between classes (we could not wait another second) and we both freaked out with nerves as we were watching it. This season started off very well, fast paced, and nail bitingly amazing. I'm going crazy having to wait a whole entire week for the second episode. I knew that something like that would happen (avoiding spoilers here), but it still freaked me out. I had to pause the ep at a certain point because I was freaking out (so was my sister). We really needed to take a breather. I'm telling you - INTENSE!

Big Bang Theory - Season 5

This season is also starting off pretty slowly. The last season didn't blow me away. I'm still looking forward to the rest of the seasons, but I'm not jumping up and down with excitement about it. That makes me extremely sad because I love Sheldon/Jim Parsons (a fellow Houstonian!).
