In My Mailbox: "Since I am Sheldon Cooper, you will be my C-Men."

Yes, that quote is indeed from The Big Bang Theory. I am in love with Sheldon Cooper you see.

These past few weeks I have received:

We All Fall Down by Nic Sheff. For review. Already started reading it and all I have to say is: wow, good stuff.

We All Fall Down: Living with AddictionIn his bestselling memoir Tweak, Nic Sheff took readers on an emotionally gripping roller-coaster ride through his days as a crystal meth and heroin addict. Now in this powerful follow-up about his continued efforts to stay clean, Nic writes candidly about eye-opening stays at rehab centers, devastating relapses, and hard-won realizations about what it means to be a young person living with addiction.

Nic Sheff and his father, David Sheff, captured a nation of readers with their bestselling memoirs Tweak and Beautiful Boy. Those books explore teen drug addiction from two different points of view: a son's and a father's. Nic currently lives in Los Angeles, California.

A Blue So Dark by Holly Schindler. Sounds so amazing! Won it at Lost for Words. Thank you!!

A Blue So Dark
Fifteen-year-old Aura Ambrose has been hiding a secret. Her mother, a talented artist and art teacher, is slowly being consumed by schizophrenia, and Aura has been her sole caretaker ever since Aura's dad left them. Convinced that "creative" equals crazy, Aura shuns her own artistic talent. But as her mother sinks deeper into the darkness of mental illness, the hunger for a creative outlet draws Aura toward the depths of her imagination. Just as desperation threatens to swallow her whole, Aura discovers that art, love, and family are profoundly linked—and together may offer an escape from her fears.

Enclave by Ann Aguirre. For review. Ahhh exciiiiiited!!!

Enclave
New York City has been decimated by war and plague, and most of civilization has migrated to underground enclaves, where life expectancy is no more than the early 20's. When Deuce turns 15, she takes on her role as a Huntress, and is paired with Fade, a teenage Hunter who lived Topside as a young boy. When she and Fade discover that the neighboring enclave has been decimated by the tunnel monsters—or Freaks—who seem to be growing more organized, the elders refuse to listen to warnings. And when Deuce and Fade are exiled from the enclave, the girl born in darkness must survive in daylight, in the ruins of a city whose population has dwindled to a few dangerous gangs. As the two are guided by Fade’s long-ago memories, they face dangers, and feelings, unlike any they’ve ever known.

By the way, yesterday I saw an early screening of the movie Thor. Wooooow it was amazing and so well done!!! Watch it when it comes out in theaters in May 6 (this Friday). Review will be live tomorrow!
Aww and that Chris Hemsworth. Dang, he is hot. Yes, he is the older brother of the hottie Liam Hemsworth.
