In My Mailbox: nail polish and books and things!

Hi all!

This week I got quite a few surprises in the mail!

Package from California:
This pic shows a package sent by my darling cousin in California. That kiddo adores me, but then so do all kids. No, I'm not ashamed to brag about that atall. She's such a bookworm like me I love it!!! She sent me nail polish (one of my true loves), pistachios, almonds, and two books for "older audiences" that she thinks I might like (no, she definitely did not read them). They're called Dark Haven by Gail Z. Martin (book  in the Chronicles of the Necromancer) and Dark Lady's Chosen (book 4). I need to get my hands on book 1 and 2.
Here are the books:

**since these are the 3rd and 4th series you may want to stay away**
Dark Haven (Chronicles of the Necromancer)

The kingdom of Margolan lies in ruin. Martris Drayke, the new king, must rebuild his country in the aftermath of battle, while a new war looms on the horizon. Meanwhile Jonmarc Vahanian is now the Lord of Dark Haven, and there is defiance from the vampires of the Vayash Moru at the prospect of a mortal leader. But can he earn their trust, and at what cost?

Dark Lady's Chosen (Chronicles of the Necromancer, Book 4)
The fourth thrilling installment of Gail Z Martin's Chronicles of the Necromancer series sees Tris's kingdom on the brink of collapse and fate of Jonmarc Vahanian hanging in the balance as the vampires and the undead enter into a deadly civil war and threaten to unleash an even greater danger onto the world.

Package from the UK:
I won this gorgeous Swedish (or as I call it, Alexander Skarsgard) bracelet (it came with a cute little bag!) over at Little Scandinavian. Check her out! She has cool giveaways and daily information on cute sites that have adorable clothes for kids. :) You can also check out the company that made the bracelet, Baglady (unfortunately if you're in the U.S you're out of luck).

Thanks to The Story Siren and Pop Culture Junkie for IMM. Be sure to check out the rest over at The Story Siren!

Splurges:

*both of these are not me*

Bought this adorable dress from Forever Scene. They sell the cutest vintage items and for really inexpensive prices! I go the dress for under $20 bucks.

This cute black dress (looks purple huh?) at The Kissing Tree. Also cute vintage items at inexpensive prices. Yup, under $20 dress. Admittedly, I prefer them under $10. Know of any places?

Winners of the Win It and Review It Giveaway were:

Meredith

Rachel

and Steph the Bookworm!!

Congrats! I already emailed you, please reply and let me know which two books you want.

Stay tuned for a huge giveaway next week (probably Monday) that I've been wanting to do for the longest time but was not able to because of new classes. Midterms are finally over yay! ;)

That second dress? Well done. Let me just say, I'm a fan. The first one is good too, but that second dress, you can do some damage in.
