Anyone know of any legit and inexpensive online textbook stores? College textbooks are way over priced so it'd be nice to save as much money as possible. Used books are more than okay with me.
I know of:
Alibris
The Book Depository
Ebay
Half.com
Amazon
Amazon Marketplace
Thank you!! :)

I don't know how you feel about eTextbooks, but iChapters on cengagebrain.com usually has them for around 50% off. I did this for a psychology class and an organic chemistry lab and everything went pretty smoothly. The chapters open in pdf files.
If not, they also sell physical books, but I'm not sure how their prices compare. I think they rent textbooks too though, so that might be an option.
I ordered a Humanities book from National_Text via Amazon.com. I requested a used book and placed my order Saturday night. I received the book today and it was next-to-new with any spine damage or highlighting. I also paid about 33.00 for the book, while used books at the college bookstore were 85.00 and new was over 100.00. Very happy with my purchase this week.
I feel your textbook pain! I'm taking a couple of my classes in condensed form over a couple of weekends, one after another, so I only have to buy one book at a time!
