Age R: nothing inappropriate. Geared towards married people and folks in a serious relationship.
Release Date: May 14 (Hey, that's today!)
Note:
Huge fan of Gael Garcia Bernal and I loved Alpha Dog, Mean Girls, and Vernica Mars in which Amanda Seyfried was in. Oh and I should mention I'm pretty much in love with Chris Egan (he was apparently in Resident Evil: Extinction which I had not noticed).
Thoughts:
Pretty cute movie, worth watching for a handful of scenes that were ADORABLE! I mean it! Not just "aww that's cute," but fangirly adorable. Watch out for the ice cream scene, because it will melt you. Aww, man, it was too cute.
This movie is predictable, but not in a tear-out-your-hair kind of way, which is nice. I really did like how the story had to do with letters written to Juliet and the Juliet's. It was nice and different (for a rom-com). Did I mention how I love the Australian hottie, Chris Egan? I didn't? Well, I LOVE HIM! You will too ;)
Three things I didn't like about the movie other than the slight predictableness was that 1) it really wasn't my kind of movie it was more about this woman's journey to finding her lost love than something super cute (that was more of a side story), 2) I wanted to see more about the two new lovebirds (if you tell me that is a spoiler I will kick you), and what I hated the most, 3) Amanda Seyfried seems really, REALLY detached throughout the whole entire movie. It was awful. It seemed as if she wasn't interested in showing much emotion which you'd think you'd do with all that's going on, but nope, nothing.
Either way, if you're going to watch this movie in theaters go check it out in the morning when it's not so expensive, I myself wouldn't want to pay huge bucks for it since it's not super duper.
Hope you enjoy the ice cream scene ;)

Awesome review. I've been wondering about this one. Detached? I will keep my eyes open for that.
This does look like a cute movie. I'm fairly certain I won't see it in the theaters, but once it's on DVD, I'm guessing the wife and I might rent it for a 'chick flick' night.
Aww, I've been really looking forward to seeing this movie ever since I saw the trailer. A detached main actress sounds a bit iffy but I love cute movies! I'm definitely seeing it, wonderful review! :D
I was surprised at this review. I adored this movie, it was cute, but also truly romantic and had a touch of realism to it too. Maybe if you're looking for a romantic comedy you wouldn't love it was much, because it's really just more of a romance.
