***If you haven't read the previous books you might not want to read on***
Thoughts:
The first half of the book, you won't care about. It was kind of interesting but it seems like the author was just trying to make the book longer and didn't care about the content. Now, the second part, that's the real beginning of the next "chapter" of Rose's life.
The first half has to do with Rose spending time with someone's family. I'm sure you know who's. Nothing significant happens here other than the family loves her yata yata. I recommend you skip this part or just skim a lot. In the second part, Dimitri comes in. You know that's the only thing you want to read, right? Even though it takes forever to get to Dimitri, the author still freakin' strings us along with a bunch of nonsense. Rose ends up in a bit of a jam for about 50 or more uninteresting pages. The ending, as always, leaves you wanting more. I hate and love that. I'm not ready to give up this series just yet, but the author's cutting it pretty close. I just want the continuation of the story Richelle Mead, don't mess with me chick! Authors of series tend to do this and it gets old very fast. If you, dear reader, are curious about what happens next check out the book from a local library. Again, beware that the first half is plenty pointless.
Note: I think Rose should be at least a little more sensitive towards Adrien. Man, poor guy :( She can be extremely mean with him and I do not like her personality for that.

Like your honest review! Ad I have to agree with you, the first part of the book was slow, and I was only waiting for Dimitri to show up! ;)
