{Movie Review} She's Out of My League RD: March 12

Rating: 4/5 - Not that great of a movie but very entertaining and laugh out loud funny (tears in your eyes funny). At least watch once.

Synopsis:
Kirk, an average Joe, can't believe his luck. Though he's stuck in a seemingly dead-end job as an airport security agent, against all odds, Molly, a successful and outrageously gorgeous babe, has fallen for him. Not only is Kirk stunned, but his friends, family and his ex-girlfriend, too. Now he has to figure out how to make the relationship work, even though he'd be the first to admit she's totally out of his league.

Thoughts:
I didnt expect too much from this movie, but I was still curious about it so when I got to see it two weeks ago I jumped at the chance. It was SO funny. It's not necessarily the type of movie I'd buy and add to my collection but I would not mind watching it again. Actually, stratch that it might just be the kind of movie I add to my collection. The story even has a bit of heart in it and it has a lot to do with friendship. I did not like that the main problem for the protagonist was partly caused because of his friends. It's not completely his fault though. Unfortunately, it's understandable for him to think that because he's not the best looking guy out there that he won't get a hot girl. He thinks that, you think that, everyone thinks that because society sucks! I loved how this movie changes things up. It's never been done quite like this before. Sure, we've seen the "geek" gets the girl movies but the "geek" usually gets the hot girl because he changes his personality or something important about himself just like the "geeky" girl gets the hot guy because she changes something about herself. I always, always freakin' HATE that! In this movie, that doesn't happen. I'm sure you can figure out how the story ends but you're still going to have fun watching this movie. You're also going to enjoy the sweet things the friends do for "Kirky." hehe It's so cute when they call him that. At first you're going to have problems with the friends for their skewed way of thinking but gradually you come to understand why they feel that because they are a 6 on a scale from 1-10 there's no way they can get a 10 girl. You're going to think they're really stupid too though, but then not so much.
Even though I really loved watching this movie I am still on the fence about whether or not this movie is good enough to buy you know? It's cute, it's hilarious, one of the best friends is really cute, and I probably would watch it again. Definitely worth watching in theaters in my opinion especially with friends. I think guys would like this movie more than girls. If you don't like dirty jokes or movies like Superbad then stay away.
