T.V show review/ Korean Drama: You're Beautiful

Ladies and gents meet my latest addiction: You're Beautiful

It's a Korean drama that is freakin' awesome! It just ended a few days ago and man is it addicting! If you plan to watch it (you better!) be sure to start it when you have 16 or so hours to spare. ;)

So far there is only one season consisting of 16 episodes. No word on a second season :'( That makes me so sad you have no idea because I WANT MORE! You will too ;)

Just to let you know, Shin Woo is my favorite :D He's SO adorable! Okay, so is Jeremy with his Angelina Jolie dog hehe and okay so is the badass (secretly good like Hyde from That 70's Show) Tae Kyung.

Check out more info on the series here.

Synopsis:
This tv show is about a girl who is a nun in training -Mi Nyu - who must pretend to be her twin brother -Go Min Am - as he recovers from an injury. She must pose as him in his band called A.N Jell (neat band name huh? hehe). Because this band is composed of three other guy members well, there will be some problems if they find out she's a girl. ;)

Thoughts:
Overall I give the first-and possibly only season- 5/5 stars. There's that clumsy girl that has no idea guys love her while there are love triangles flying all over the place. Man there is quite a bit of heart break you'll feel so sad for them all! :'( Try not to cry okay? Stay strong! There's also tons of comedy including parodies of other dramas, bands (Sorry, Sorry by Super Junior parody is hilarious!!!), and such. My absolute favorite thing about this show other than the romance was the imagined scenes. I lived for those! So, so funny! Oh and I LOVED the fireworks thing oh man that was one of the best things I've seen in my life on a tv show! The whole series was just incredible and so romantic I can't wait until it's released on DVD with English subs. It'll probably take forever :( I wasn't completely satisfied with the ending and I totally want more, but for the moment it's enough :)
It annoyed the hell out of me that they played these two Korean songs over and over again during the entire show. Frustrating! I like me a good soundtrack! The songs were pretty and I liked them but hearing them over and over is just annoying. I did not like that whenever they played English songs it was only The Climb by Miley Cyrus and You Belong with Me by Taylor Swift. Wouldn't kill them to change it up. I loved that they had an FT Island song in there though bc Jeremy is in that band in real life. Okay his name is not Jeremy it's Lee Hong Ki. He's SO much cuter without crappy blond hair. Well only when it's dark brown, he recently dyed it red yuck! I'm sorry folks, I am not a fan of dyed hair on guys. I just don't like it.

Warning!
I freakin' hate the clothes Jeremy and Tae Kyung wore on the show. Ugh! It was just too bleh and femenine for a straight guy to wear. I'm sorry I feel that way but that's just how I am. I had NO problem with Shin Woo's clothes though hehe :) Ah he's so yummy! I also did not love Jeremy and Tae Kyung's hair styles more of the time. I kinda forgot about it after a while because they're personalities are just too awesome and super sweet and adorable :D

Note: The second episode involves someone stuck on top of a car and some running... SO CUTE!

AHH SHIN WOO IS SUCH A SWEETHEART! Okay, all of them are hehe :D

Where to watch this awesome tv show since it is obviously not airing in America (maybe if you have cable with 3,000 channels including Korean ones)?

You Tube (links you to the first ep, hopefully you can go from there if you need help email me)
My Soju

Those are all subbed with English subtitles. :)

You can thank me later after you're done being addicted to this show especially since you're lucky enough to have all the episodes out by the time you begin. Have fun!!! :D
Now I need to get me that You're Beautiful poster up there so I can put it on my wall and stare at Shin Woo all day...

Regina Spektor Concert in Houston, TX!!! Are you curious about what this T.V and Book Addict looks like?

No I didn't take that awesome picture, it's from wikipedia. I would have taken TONS of great awesome pics of the lovely and super talented Regina Spektor (I was only like 10 ft away!) but f-ing security didn't let me bring in my Rebel!!! By Rebel I of course mean my Canon Rebel XTI ;)

Thanks to EventChaser and RazorGator, a friend and I had the opportunity to attend the Regina Spektor concert in Houston, Texas on November 10! We received a pair of great Concert Tickets! It was so exciting and incredible! I had never been to the Verizon Wireless Theater before so it was all new to me especially having seen Regina Spektor (who I love!!) for the first time.

Songs I remember her performing:

• Us
• Fidelity
• Ode to Divorce
• Folding Chair
• Blue Lips
• The Calculation
• Laughing With
• Eet
• Hotel Song
• Bobbing for Apples
• Dance Anthem of the 80’s
• That Time

At some point she brought in a cute white chair and told us how two little girls gave her that chair right there in Houston, TX a few years ago! It was really great; she was drumming on the chair and everything. Gosh she was incredible!! The crowd loved her and vise versa. After finishing with her last song we of course wanted an encore! She came back on stage and performed about 4 more songs including my all time favorite Us. The crowd was not moshing or anything crazy like that, just enjoying the wonderful music.

Regina also sang a hilarious song about eyes. I had never heard it before but it was incredibly entertaining. She sang something like, “You shouldn’t trust someone with blue eyes but then again, I have blue eyes.” I was so excited to see Regina, I just adore her and her music so much and never before had I gotten the chance to see her here in Houston. I had really amazing seats even if I couldn’t see her very well. It was all such a great, amazing experience. If Regina Spektor is touring near you, GO SEE HER! You will not regret it. It was such a great concert it almost seems like a dream. I just loved it that much!

It was so fun I hope I get to see RS again and be able to take pics with my cammy. It kind of sucked that for a long time I could only see her eyes because she was being blocked by the piano :'( That and the fact that this drunk chick was being so freakin' childish and the security guard did nothing bc she was flirting with him upset me. That was a long sentence. hehe

If you plan on going to Houston, TX someday check out my review of the Regina Spektor concert and Verizon Wireless Theater <--- You can see a picture of me too! :) So if you're curious...

And yeah I look freakin' young even though in Feb I'll be 19. I've been told I look like I'm 13. At least I'll look young when I'm in my thirties and so on. :D

Here's a video I took of her performing Us. The quality is awful so below I've included some links to other videos from that same night :)

Waiting on Wednesday-Fallen by Lauren Kate and Battle Royale by Koushun Takami

Fallen by Lauren Kate
There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.

Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce--and goes out of his way to make that very clear--she can't let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.

Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, Fallen is a page turning thriller and the ultimate love story.

The cover is beautiful and the story sounds incredible! How could I now want to read this book?! The fact that it will be a series is even more awesome. I can't wait for it to be released on December 8!

Battle Royale by Kousun Takami (2nd edition)

Battle Royale is a high-octane thriller about senseless youth violence, and one of Japan's bestselling - and most controversial - novels. As part of a ruthless program by the totalitarian government, a group of high school students are taken to a small isolated island with a map, food, and various weapons. Forced to wear special collars that explode when thy break a rule, they must fight each other for three days until only one remains.

The new edition of the Battle Royale book I love so much!! TBR next Wednesday!

WoW is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine! :)

Ma Vie En Rose/My Life in Pink

Foreign Film (Belgium/French)

Rating: 4.5/5

Release Date: 1997

Nifty:
If you have Netflix, it's available for instant watch.

Synopsis:
It tells the story of Ludovic, a child who was born male but consistently insists that he is supposed to be a girl. The film shows the struggle over gender identity he and his family experience.

Thoughts:
The protagonist, Ludovik, is a friggin' strong kid. He's only about 7 years old yet he remains tough and true to himself no matter what. Of course, he can't always think of himself right? He also has to think about his family first, isn't that how it goes? Society sucks does it not?
Ludovik is a boy. He likes playing with dolls and wearing dresses. He comes to believe that when God sent him his XY chromosomes he accidentally ended up with two X's, like a girl. So basically he's a guy stuck in a girl's body.
When he and his family move in to a community full of a-hole hypocrites who can't accept him, well, there's trouble. :(
Ludovik goes through so much at such a young age, I just don't know how he can handle it. If I were in his situation I don't think I would have ever made it. He's such a smart adorable person you'll come to love him and want him to be happy. You wil also want to beat up all those mean bastards or give them the stink eye.
I loved the cinematography, especially when it involved the dolls. It was so creative and cute. I also loved the way the X's and Y's scene was illustratated. Genius.
Watch it and love it!

Battle Royale Edition #2 by Koushun Takami-- Happy Release Day!!!

In an alternative future Japan, junior high students are forced to fight to the death! L to R (Western Style). Koushun Takami's notorious high-octane thriller is based on an irresistible premise: a class of junior high school students is taken to a deserted island where, as part of a ruthless authoritarian program, they are provided arms and forced to kill one another until only one survivor is left standing. Criticized as violent exploitation when first published in Japan—where it then proceeded to become a runaway bestseller—Battle Royale is a Lord of the Fliesfor the 21st century, a potent allegory of what it means to be young and (barely) alive in a dog-eat-dog world. Made into a controversial hit movie of the same name, Battle Royale is already a contemporary Japanese pulp classic, now available for the first time in the English language. A group of high school students are taken to small isolated island and forced to fight each other until only one remains alive! If they break the rules a special collar blows their heads off. Koushun Takami's brutal, high-octane thriller is told in breathless. blow-by-blow fashion. Battle Royale is a contemporary Japanese pulp classic now available for the first time in English.

It's obviously not available for the first time in English. This is the second edition (Released today November 17th) and I totally want it! Hopefully I can get it sometime in the future.

Read my review of Battle Royale, the first version. :)

Suzanne Collin's The Hunger Games series is VERY similar to this book except with more blood and gore. If you think you'd like this book, I highly recommend it. The movies suck btw. Just putting that out there.

Eternal by Cynthia Leitich Smith
With diabolical wit, the author of TANATALIZE revisits a deliciously dark world where vampires vie with angels — and girls just want to have fangs.

At last, Miranda is the life of the party: all she had to do was die. Elevated and adopted by none other than the reigning King of the Mantle of Dracul, Miranda goes from high-school theater wannabe to glamorous royal fiend overnight. Meanwhile, her reckless and adoring guardian angel, Zachary, demoted to human guise as the princess’s personal assistant, has his work cut out for him trying to save his girl’s soul and plan the Master’s fast-approaching Death Day gala. In alternating points of view, Miranda and Zachary navigate a cut-throat eternal aristocracy as they play out a dangerous and darkly hilarious love story for the ages.

I didn't love Tantalize when I read it ages ago (can't even remember it really), but I got so curious about the sequel and I did hear/read it was better than Tantalize. I sure hope so! I liked the characters but the story was lame in the first one. I sure do hope I love Eternal.

I got these adorable shoes on Ebay for less than $9 bucks! I love them!!! They have a cute bow on the front and are so comfy on my 7.5 sized huge feet hehe :)
I won this SIGNED Hate List book over at Flip the Page Book Reviews. Thanks again! And thank you Jennifer Brown :D She signed "For Lisette, may your love list always be long and full" Aww :) I already read the book and loved it but bc I didn't have my own copy how am I gonna re-read it?! So yeah hehehe

Hate List by Jennifer Brown

Five months ago, Valerie Leftman's boyfriend, Nick, opened fire on their school cafeteria. Shot trying to stop him, Valerie inadvertently saved the life of a classmate, but was implicated in the shootings because of the list she helped create. A list of people and things she and Nick hated. The list he used to pick his targets.

Now, after a summer of seclusion, Val is forced to confront her guilt as she returns to school to complete her senior year. Haunted by the memory of the boyfriend she still loves and navigating rocky relationships with her family, former friends and the girl whose life she saved, Val must come to grips with the tragedy that took place and her role in it, in order to make amends and move on with her life.

This week I:
  • Watched The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. It was awesome but not as awesome as I hoped. I expected so much more for the sequel to my favorite movie ever! Anyway there's gonna be THIRD MOVIE! I'll write a review as soon as I have time. Again work and school grr
  • Went crazy over the teaser trailer released of Kick-Ass the Aaron Johnson/superhero movie I've been waiting for months now for that! Can't wait for the movie. I wrote down the release date but it's too far away....
  • Watched New York, I Love You. Ethan Hawke, Hayden Christiansen, Orlando Bloom, Anton Yelchin I loved you all in it! That movie is from the same producers as Paris, Je T'aime and creating in similar style with different directors creating their own awesomeness. I did not love New York, I Love You as much as Paris, Je T'aime. :( It was still pretty neat. I recommend it but maybe not worth the ticket so wait until you can rent it. BTW Radiohead's No Surprises came out in the movie!! Isn't it a coinkidink that I posted that song this week?! hehe Man I love them ;)
  • Went so see Regina Spektor in concert!!! Pics and such will be coming up as soon as I can! Most likely this week. She is sooo awesome and man live she's even awesomer and so hilarious! She did an encore of like 4 songs! It was great especially since she sang my favorite song "Us." It totally sucked that they didn't let me bring in my Canon Rebel XTI because it was "too big" grr!! I really hate anything Verizon now. It was in a Verizon Theater btw
  • Gave you my thoughts on Hush, Hush. Finally. hehe
  • Gave you the Dandy Books for the week.

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

Hush, HushRating: 4/4; Liked it quite a lot. Would re-read. Had some flaws, but was still highly entertaining.

Age R: 14+

Release Date: October 2009

Synopsis:
For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her. Not until Patch came along.
With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment.
But after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure who to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is way more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.
For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and, when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

Nifty Estras:
Read a free excerpt.

Thoughts:
You will lose sleep over this book. Yes, it was that entertaining. What I loved the most was Patch. Second, the love story. Aww so cute! Third, the mystery. Who did the deed?
Again, we have another case of the back cover of the book being semi-stupid. It makes you think the story is about something else and that's just not it. For the most part anyway.
Without spoilers what basically happens is girl meets new guy, ehem, new hot guy. Hot guy is somewhat of a pervert, totally mysterious, tall, muscular -oops getting distracted- he also knows things about Nora he should definitely not know. Then there's the whole someone is stalking her deal. Creepy! There is a mystery throughout the book, danger, murder, fires, and thrown in one super adorable love story. Read it.
Okay that was what I loved. The following is what I did not particularly fancy.
The characters could have been developed more especially the antagonists. I would have especially loved more information about Patch and his background. Whenever it's revealed, we only get a glimpse. It somewhat seems as if we'll get more, yet we only get a bit of info.
I was not a huge fan of Nora. She wasn't very independent or smart sometimes. Most times she seemed totally dependent on Patch, "Where's Patch? I'll do this and that, then Patch will save me." Those aren't actual quotes but you get the gist. That was pretty weak in my opinion. Then again, what's the point of being a damsel in distress if you can't be saved by a hot guy, right? hehe That's usually how it's done, but it doesn't mean I have to love it. It would be really cool if she were very independednt, but just needed some help, not needed to have everything done for her.
Another thing I didn't like was that at times Nora acted in a really odd or even stupid way. She felt that someone was scary, yet, she still went alone with him to places or didn't immediately leave when alone with him. That's hormones for you though, but under the circumstances and considering what was happening to her, she should have known better. Sometimes I just thought, "What the heck is wrong with you?!" At times, she was just kind of asking for trouble I must say. But maybe that's just me.
That whole problem though doesn't take away from how cute the story is overall. It is really entertaining and enjoyable so I most definitely recommend it. The holidays are coming up and this would make a really good gift! ;)
The ending.
Oh man I adored it! Just like a cute romantic movie. L-o-v-e-d it! I awed a little too many times after finishing the book.

Dandy Books

Dandy Books is a meme I began about books that are on my TBR list. They are mostly older books not necessarily from the current year. Hopefully I can make your list bigger!

To Dance: A Ballerina's Graphic Novel by Sirena Cherson Siegel and Mark Siegel (illustrator)

Dancers are young when they first dream of dance. Siena was six — and her dreams kept skipping and leaping, circling and spinning, from airy runs along a beach near her home in Puerto Rico, to dance class in Boston, to her debut performance on stage with the New York City Ballet.

To Dance tells and shows the fullness of her dreams and her rhapsodic life they led to. Part family history, part backstage drama, here is an original, firsthand book about a young dancer's beginnings — and beyond.

The Alison Rules by Catherine Clark

What is It About Alison?

For one thing, she has rules:

When stealing a rowboat, ALWAYS check that the oars are the same length, so you don't go in circles.

In reference to your best friend's crush, KEEP your feelings to yourself.

NEVER use your locker if that's where you were standing when told the very worst news of all.

But rules –– like hearts –– are meant to be broken.

RD: 2005

Interest: Read good things about it and it seems funny/cute.

Love & Sk8 by Nancy Krulik

Then one day Carter walks into the shop. He's all Abercrombie, and she's black hoodies. But it's hot in therre.

Carter offers to help Angie with her dream: to take her art to NYC. She really believes in Carter, but then she learns the truth about his family -- something that turns Love & Sk8 into Love vs. Sk8.

Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton TrumboAn immediate bestseller upon its original publication in 1939, Dalton Trumboa (TM)s stark, profoundly troubling masterpiece about the horrors of World War I brilliantly crystallized the uncompromising brutality of war and became the most influential protest novel of the Vietnam era.

The Holidays!

Are you guys getting into the spirit of Christmas yet? Or if not into Christmas, the holidays? hehe :)

I am already thinking about what presents I will be getting for people including my new co-workers hehe even the mean ones. Man the gossip in that office! That kind of rhymes ;)

Do you guys play the piano?

I really, really wish I did and that I was awesome at it but I'm not :( My sister at some point was learning to play but then when her teacher died she never went back.
Yeah .....

I was looking at this site and they have Christmas Sheet Music and tons of other neato things. It's pretty neat. So check it out especially if you are looking for sheet music. If you have a piano and can play it, consider me officially jealous of you. :)

This reminds me, I shall have to look online some more for presents I'm getting people so look out for a post of that soon. Then you guys can tell me what you think! :) I'm so bad at giving presents and I try really really hard to get the perfect gift for folks but then I think "Man, what if they don't like it? Like really, truly love it?" It sucks :( I don't want it to be just the thought, you know?

Adios.

Song: This Love by Angela Aki (from Blood+ OST)

Yeah I love that anime and I really fell in love with Angela Aki's music :)

Trailer: Prince of Persia

Looks really cool and action packed.

In My Mailbox

Thanks to Kristi and Alea for IMM :)

This week I only got two things.

This BB Dakota coat but in black:

And a David Benjamin vintage skirt/jumper thing which I can't find an image of and bc I'm too lazy to charge my Rebel you're not getting a pic sorry, but trust me, it's cute hehe ;)

No books this week sadly :(

I still have my Best Buy gift card from graduation but I can't decide what books to get!! I'm so very indecisive. I've been trying to decide for over 5 months now.

Any suggestions on what very, very re-readable books I should buy?

Thank you! Your suggestions are seriously always appreciated even if I don't buy the books right away I seriously plan on reading the ones you guys say are good. That's why my tbr list is so huge hehe

Movies watched this week:

  • Catch Me if You Can --If you like The Informant, you'll love this, especially the ending.
  • The Box --really good but not nearly as awesome as I hoped it to be. I'm a huge fan of Donnie Darko so I was definitely expecting a lot. Even if I wasn't, I'd still say it isn't amazing, just really good and worth the ticket.
  • Re-watching my DVD's of Freaks and Geeks bc on I Heart Daily it was mentioned and I was missing it so of course I had to watch at least a few episodes when I had time. I'm still so in love with Jason Segel. Sigh exclamation mark. I must also re-watch My So Called Life hehe But I don't own that series :(
Work and school are killer!!! I haven't even been able to read lately. You have no idea how sad that makes me :(

Anywho's if you have any book suggestions, suggest away please and I really hope you guys had a great week and that you got great stuff in the mail :D

It was a hard one to choose from (For me it was between this adorable cupcake necklace and this one, but I just had to pick this!) but I loved this one the most! It is completely cute and delicious and I would wear this any day (as long as it matched with the clothes, haha.)! I love the candy sprinkles and the glitter makes it look beautious!

Song: Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler

I like this song but the video is SO CREEPY!!! And it pretty much has nothing to do w/ the lyrics unless she likes little boys or something. I hope not.

Dandy Books

Dandy Books is a meme I began about books that are on my TBR list. They are mostly older books not necessarily from the current year. Hopefully I can make your list bigger!

Saint Iggy by K. L. Going

I am not so bad a person once you get to know me.

When Iggy Corso gets kicked out of high school, there's no one for him to tell. His mother has gone off, his father is stoned on the couch, and the phone's been disconnected, so even the social worker can't get through. Leaving his public housing behind, Iggy ventures into the world to make something of his life. It's not easy when you're sixteen, have no skills, and your only friend is mixed up with the dealer who got your mom hooked. But Iggy is . . . Iggy, and he has the kind of wisdom that lets him see what no one else can.

K. L. Going's third novel is a haunting achievement about a young man's tragic search for meaning in a world that to him makes no sense.

Interest: I read the ending was freakin' sad. I like sad books *shrugs* I can't help it, I'm a masochist. ;) The story itself sounds pretty fascinating too.

Birdwing by Rafe Martin
Once upon a time, a girl rescued her seven brothers from a spell that had turned them into swans. But one boy, Ardwin, was left with the scar of the spell's last gasp: one arm remained a wing. And while Ardwin yearned to find a place in his father's kingdom, the wing whispered to him of open sky and rushing wind. Marked by difference, Ardwin sets out to discover who he is: bird or boy, crippled or sound, cursed or blessed. But followed by the cold eye of a sorceress and with war rumbling at his kingdom's borders, Ardwin's path may lead him not to enlightenment, but into unimaginable danger.

Interest: Doesn't that synopsis just sound awesome? I love fantasy novels so I definitely can't wait to get to read this one.

Summerland by Michael Chabon
For over a century, the people of Clam Island, Washington, have enjoyed barbecues and baseball games and Summerland, on the Western tip of the island, where it never rains. The small beings -- known as ferishers -- who ensure this perfect weather, however, are threatened by an ancient enemy, and need a hero -- a baseball star, in fact -- to vanquish their foe. Summerland is the story of Ethan Feld, the worst ball player in the history of the game, recruited by a hundred-year-old scout called Ringfinger Brown, himself a Negro League Legend. Accompanied by his determined friend, Jennifer T. Rideout, and guided by a friendly werefox, Ethan struggles to defeat giants, bat-winged goblins, and one of the toughest ballclubs in the realms of magic, to save all the Summerlands, and ultimately the world.

Interest: It sounds pretty neat and I loved The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.

City of Beasts by Isable Allende

Alexander Cold is about to join his fearless grandmother on the trip of a lifetime. An International Geographic expedition is headed to the dangerous, remote wilds of South America on a mission to document the legendary Yeti of the Amazon known as the Beast.

But there are many secrets hidden in the unexplored wilderness, as Alex and his friend Nadia soon discover. Drawing on the strength of their spirit guides, both young people are led on a thrilling and unforgettable journey to the ultimate discovery . . .

Interest: Even the title intrigues me.

The last bit is weird and creepy and you won't jump throughout this whole video so don't be too scared. At the end I kinda covered part of my eyes hehehe I'm a wuss okay!! And the vid person said it would be super scary even though it wasn't.

This one is silly

I didn't want to watch any others I'm sorry. I'm too much of a wuss hehehe I watched most of those in the daylight btw hehe the first I saw at another blog at night and without any warnings. Oh gosh I swear I almost had a heart attack.

From the back cover: Christmas on TV is wilder, weirder, and more wondrous than you think! The Christmas TV Companion is a funny, engaging look beyond the same Christmas specials that air every year to the cult TV rarities, over-the-top made-for-TV holiday specials, and bizarre, spacey shows that truly expand the notion of Christmas spirit. Loaded with pop culture references, this book is sure to please pop aficionados and TV junkies of all stripes. Its remarkable breadth of content covers the far-out gems of yesterday, as well as the irreverent and cutting edge Christmas material of today, from Arthur C. Clarke to South Park, and from Ed Sullivan to Squidbillies. This guide also contains practical examples for enhancing your own Christmas TV viewing.

I didn't get that nail polish, but the color I got is pretty much the same except a little lighter and cost only $2 something. It's from Hard as Nails and it's called Sun Kissed. I love it! :)

A quirky young man moves in with an overprotective mechanic and his spirited younger sister, and changes their lives.

One of my favorite movies which I didn't own so of course I had to get it when it was available at SwapaDVD :) It arrived super quick and came with a bookmark and a poster of 9! :)

I bought this for my sister. It's going to be part of her Christmas present :) That's her birthday too btw but I'm getting her something else for that. It sucks that she sometimes only gets one present for Christmas or her birthday instead of a present for both. I hope she doesn't see this post.... hehe

I bought this adorable necklace from iamsnizzle's etsy called Theresa Hawk Designs. It's now one of my favorite etsy's. I bought that bee necklace from her too :) The snowflake pendant is pretty darn huge btw which I LOVE! It didn't hurt that it cost about $5 bucks total. :)
