First Look at Drew Barrymore's Whip It Movie

I was over at Slashfilm again and saw this. I can't wait to see it! I first heard of it a few months back and wow. Excited!
This is Drew Barrymore's first time directing. I can't wait to see how she does it.

This film, Whip It, is based on a book, yes a book called Derby Girl written by Shauna Cross. I'm definitely going to check it out before the movie comes out in October 9, 2009. :)
The story takes place in Texas, isn't that neat?!
Oh that's not where the awesomeness ends. Landon Pigg, the awesome singer (I can't stop listening to Can't Let Go) is going to be starring as the love interest of the main gal. As you can see by the pic the main gal is Ellen Page. Jimmy Fallon is also going to be in the movie. I love him. I miss his SNL days and am trying really hard to like his late night show. I'm sorry, but it's no where near as awesome as Conan. :D

I'm not a big fan of Jim Carrey, he's just not funny to me but I LOVED him in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Yes, Man, so well see about this one. :)
