Thoughts:

Megan Tuw is part of the school's (most likely in Australia) most popular crowd. Together these girls makes sure to stick together and not even think twice about making fun of other freaks. Freaks like Perdita Wiguiggan (Pur-dee-tah Wig-wee-gan). But is it possible that there is more to Perdita? Then again, Megan absolutely should not even be seen with her or else she risks humiliating the group.
This is the story of an unlikely friendship. Not only that but it's deeper than that. It's about how there's people out there, possibly you, who don't want to get involved with others because of what your friends may think. What many people don't realize is that these "freaks" are people too. They also don't realize that actions have consequences.
I suggest you pick up this book right away, it is very interesting, sad, and amazing to read. This is one of those books that will stay with you for a long time.
The writing in this book is really great I loved it. The way the book was written just goes with the story you know? Love that. I also liked how the author uses poems throughout the story to get certain points across. I just loved how Walking Naked basically means you shouldn't care about what other people think. Great message. :D
One of my best friends kept telling me, and telling me to read it and so I did. I'm SO glad she practically forced me to read it, I just loved it. :)
