Thoughts:
Unless you're watching it for free or renting it when it comes out, I wouldn't recommend watching The Taking of Pelham 123. It's pretty lame.
Sure the movie keeps you in suspense wondering "oh man is he gonna kill someone else?!" but at the same time the story itself is just..bleh. The movie had it's jokes and moments but honestly it's not worth going to the movies for. Seriously, it's not.
The Taking of Pelham 123 is about a crazy guy (Travolta, love him very much but not enough to want to watch this again) who takes a train with quite a number of people hostage in exchange for $10,000,000 dollars, there's a bit more to the story but again, not that interesting. Garber (Denzel) is just a regular guy who ends up having to deal with this crazy fella.

The Taking of Pelham 123 is a remake btw of the movie by the same title from 1973. It's also based on the novel The Taking of Pelham One Two Three by Morton Freedgood.
