Giveaway! -Michael Scott's The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel

Guess what guess what?!! Another awesome book giveaway! :)

Enter to win a copy of Michael Scott's The Alchemyst and The Magician. Not only that but also an awesome special edition challenges of the elder mug. :D

Go check out the free Challenges of the Elder game:
http://www.alchemystgame.com/
I played it and um..yeah not that great at it. In the first challenge my highest score was 5629, in the second it was 5444, and the third was 396. I didn't do well at ALL in the challenge of the elder part. Sigh. I really liked the graphics though hehe I didn't like that guy in my last challenge because he talked to much. Thankfully you can mute it but sometimes you actually need to know what he's asking.
Go give it a shot and see how you do bet you can't beat me! hehe you probably can actually. :D

I haven't read these books yet but I totally want to. I've heard TONS about how awesome they are. The third book in the series comes out on May 26 which is next Tuesday. This would be perfect for you to get ready to read that one. :)

Entries:
-in order to enter you must leave a comment letting me know what you think about the game or the books if you've read them (notice how I put that in bold and in red, it's because people just don't follow the rules, I'm just trying to help you out here folks) If you don't do this your entry will not count. +1

I haven't read these books, but my husband has and he's really enjoyed them. I've recommended them to several teens at work.

I tried the game and was terrible at it-I got a zero. I only did the first one though. I do think it's very cool and I'm going to tell my teens who've read the books about it.

We haven't read these books either and they look interesting. Thanks.

These do look like great books! OK, so I played the game and got 0 trying to put the puzzle together. It wouldn't let me go past that. It was fun trying though. I am a new follower of your blog.

I actually just started reading the first book in the series and so far I really liked it. I also played the first 3 challenges which I did pretty good on, but that last one was so hard! And the guy talked too much, like you said :)

I have read the books and LOVE THEM!!! They are seriously, fantastic. A few months ago, I played the challenge, but I don't remember what my score was. I do know that I got the third part of the challenge, though.

Yeah, well, I played the game like for three hours a couple weeks ago and I couldn't even make it past the first part which was the puzzle thingy. The graphics really did rock though!

You know, it's not a bad game. It'll be a lot more interesting for folks who are rabid fans of the books or are at least familiar with them, but it certainly was well done and interesting. I don't know how I feel about the narration, though. I would prefer being able to turn that off and just have text.

My highest score on the first stage was 2,600 (and change, but I forgot it). Dunno, did really bad on that section for some reason. Failed it the first time, got it the second, all because one piece was slightly off...I was going to keep playing but there was a strange glitch and so I gave it a rest.

Now for the boring stuff:
--I became a follower
--I blogged about this contest here: http://wisb.blogspot.com/2009/05/sff-links-end-of-may-book-giveaways.html
--And I mentioned my highest score up there, even though it was dismal at best.

My email is arconna[at]yahoo[dot]com

Oh man, I did so bad at that game. It would have been easier had the parts of the puzzle not been throbbing back and forth. :P That threw me off.

I sucked at the game. ): Boo hoo. I loved the books, so it was very very disappointing to get a high score of a big fat egg.

+1 Scores: Wow I did horribly! I played all 3 rounds and the only one that I was good at was the first one, and kind of the second one. The 3rd challenge, with all the colors, was sooo hard! I didn't really like the game..

Diane said...

These books are really great. They are well written and like the Harry Potter series can be enjoyed by readers of all ages. They are super fast paced but leave you with a trail of mythology to go and research when you're done reading.

The came was cute. I like puzzles, so of course I had to give it a try.

I can be reached at dianefh @ gmail.com

The game wouldn't let me play last time. I don't know whyyy. But um, yes, these books sound great. The first one caught my eye a long time ago b/c of Harry Potter. LOL But anywhooo they sound like fun, and i haven't read any so it would be cool to be entered.
